I just want to share a great experience that my daughter, Kennedy, has had this summer. It’s a half day Discovery Camp at The Nature Institute in Godfrey. The program was about $100, which includes a shirt and other activity prizes, and Kennedy has loved it! Way cool for a 3-year-old - especially one with cochlear implants. In fact, she even was awarded a special lantern for being so helpful with some of the other campers. She’s had themed “adventure” days like “Buffalo and the Prairie”, “No Alligators Here”, and “Safari”. And tomorrow, my wife Sara and I get to join her for a “Bush Bash” and lunch. There are different camps for different age groups throughout the summer.
